The Video Meeting Dashboard

The Video Meeting Dashboard is a unique feature of the Video Conferencing Add-on for GroupWise. It provides you with a birds eye view of all your video conferencing meetings across all your enabled video conferencing platforms:

The Meeting Dashboard will allow you to do the following:

  • For each enabled platform it will show you recently scheduled meetings, including upcoming scheduled meetings.
  • You can re-use the any existing meeting that was scheduled on a Video Conferencing platform - such an action will merely insert the Video Meeting details into a new GroupWise Appointment.
  • If Microsoft Teams is enabled for your organisation the meetings will be organised based on the Microsoft Team where the meeting has been scheduled.
  • If you delete a Video Conference meeting from a specific platform, it will not delete the meeting from Groupwise, but the meeting room details will no longer be valid for use.
  • You can also refresh the dashboard in case you have scheduled a meeting on your profile directly on the Video Conference platform and want to use it in GroupWise.

Authentication to Video Conferencing Platform

You will need a valid login on the video conferencing platform. The Add-on will prompt you for authentication on the selected video conferencing platform if it cannot detect an active authenticated session from your Windows desktop. This is not needed for platforms such as Zoom and Jitsi.

Settings

You will see a settings icon on the dashboard. In most cases you will not be required to make any changes on the settings. These will in any case be locked when the settings are controlled centraly by your GroupWise Administrator.

The only setting that you may want to change, will be the Interface Language:

Change Language

This will allow you to change the Add-on's interface to your preferred language. You will need to close and start the Add-on again after changing the interface lanuage.
