Configuration for WebEx
You only need to complete the steps in this section if your want to use WebEx with the GroupWise Video Conferencing Add-on. If you are not going to use WebEx, then you can skip this section. Each user that will be using this integration with the Add-on will require a valid subscription to Cisco WebEx.
Important
You will need a login with Administrator privileges to your organisation's WebEx account before you can proceed with setting up WebEx for use with the GroupWise Video Conferencing Add-on. If you do not have access with administrator privileges, you need to contact your WebEx Administrator to perform these steps on your behalf else you will not be able to use WebEx with the Add-on.
Steps to Configure
- Login to your WebEx Developer Portal with an account that has Administration Privileges.
- Navigate to your profile icon on the top right corner and select My Webex Apps.
- On the Create a New App page click on Create an Integration.
- Complete the following on the New Integration page:

Integration name field | Specify GWVC as the client name. |
App Hub Description field | Provide any unique description |
Redirect URI(s) field | Type http://localhost - this is merely for redirection to the local workstation where the Add-on is installed after the authentication of the user has completed on WebEx. |
- On the Scopes page, make sure that the following items are selected:

- Once you have selected the above permissions click on Add Integration.
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret that is now displayed. Save this in a safe place as you will require these two items when you configure the GroupWise Video Conferencing Add-on configuration profile.
Next Actions
Once you have configured WebEx, make sure that you keep your Client ID and Client Secret in a safe place as you will need it when you get to the set up of the configuration in the Client Portal.
You can now proceed to configure other Video Conferencing platforms that are in use. If WebEx is your only platform, you can proceed directly to the Configure Management Portal.
