Client Portal Introduction

In order to simplify the management of the GroupWise Video Conferencing Add-on, especially in larger client environments, access to the GroupWise Videoo Conferencing Add-in is managed from the NETCB Client Portal.

Purpose of the Client Portal

This Client Portal provides the following features:

  • Secure authentication for authorised users within an organisation
  • Secure centralised management of the Video Conferencing Add-on configuration profile
  • Access to the client's License Key
  • Access to the GroupWise Video Conferencing software package downloads
  • Access to future updates of the Video Conferncing Add-on
  • Administration of registered end-users within the client's organisation

Important

You will not be able to get access to the Video Conferencing Add-on unless you are registered on the Client Portal, even if it is merely for Evaluation Purposes.

How to register

In order to gain access to the Client Portal you need to follow a specific process that is explained in this section. You have to follow this process, even if you have previously requested an evaluation download or if you are an existing subscriber of the Video Conferencing Add-on.

  • Request an evaluation download by completing this Evaluation Request form on NETCB's website. You will receive a confirmation message of this request.
  • NETCB will validate the request within 24 hours (often within an hour) and activate a profile for your organisation on the Client Portal. Once the approval is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail containing the instructions on creating a login on the Client Portal.
  • Follow the instructions in the e-mail to create your login account for the Client Portal. When you register a login for the Client Portal, you will be creating your own set up for resetting your password should you forget the password in the future. The next section explains in detail on how to register.

Failing to register a login account

If you are unsuccessful to create a login account, you most liekly already have a login account at NETCB. This will be the case of individuals who participated in previous beta tests of the Video Conferencing Add-on, or you have attended training classes at NETCB in the past. All you then need to do is to follow this Password Self Service link. This will allow you to either RESET your password or discover your UserID, or both. If you still do not succeed, please open a Service Ticket with NETCB by sending an e-mail to our support team.

  • Once you have managed to register an account, you will receive a confirmation token either via e-mail or SMS (depending on your selection) to activate your account. If you skip this step, your account will not be activated.
  • Once you have activated your account you will be able to login to the Client Portal on this link.
  • Once you have logged in, you will be able to see your evaluation license key, or active license key if you are already a subscriber, including a section where you can set up the configuration profile of your organisation. This is discussed in detail in another section on how to set up your configuration profile.
  • Once you have created your configuration profile, you can proceed to download the license key and the software. You then need to follow the instructions on how to deploy the software in your environment.
